Few hours after Kogi state governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, was declared returned by INEC, the crisis which erupted at Ochadamu in Ofu local government area of the state has claimed the women leader of Wada/Aro Campaign Council, Mrs Acheju Abuh.
The woman was set ablaze in her own house on Monday, November 18, around 2pm, following a misunderstanding between APC and PDP supporters.

He explained that, in the process of the misunderstanding, Gowon Simeon stabbed Awolu Zekeri with a knife on his pap and he died on his way to the hospital.
“As a result, angry youths in the area mobilised to the house of one Simeon Abuh of same address who is an uncle to the suspect, set it ablaze, thereby burning one Salome Abuh, aged 60.
“Three other houses were equally burnt. The corpse have been moved to the University Teaching Hospital mortuary Anyigba for autopsy,” the statement said

He alleged that the thugs invaded the house and poured petrol on the building before setting it ablaze while efforts made by the late Mrs Abuh to escape proved abortive due to the metal burglary proof and gun shots with bullets raining in her direction.
