The member representing Ogbia constituency 3 in the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Hon. Naomi Ogoli, has said her major concern is to make legislation that will benefit her constituents.
Hon. Naomi said this in a chat with newsmen at the reception in her honor after the inauguration of the 6th Assembly in Bayelsa state.
She said: “I am eternally grateful to God and Governor Henry Seriake Dickson, who found me worthy and capable of representing the good people of Ogbia constituency 3″.
“I remember how I contested for this same seat in 2015 and won and after I was given a certificate of return and duly sworn in, the tribunal annulled the election just because of one ward.
“Today I make it emphatically clear that whatever constituency projects and funds due constituency 3 and each community within must be given to them irrespective of party affiliation,” she said.
She commended her fellow contestants for accepting defeats especially Hon. Gabriel’s Ogbara.
“I appreciated everyone that contested along with me, there is no victor, all of us were good but only one person must emerge as the winner”.
While promising not to disappoint her constituents she said,” my constituency office will be located here Ibelebiri so that every member can gain access to channel their problems and needs, you don’t need to pass protocols to reach me in yenagoa”.
