I ‘m fully prepared to take charge of Nasarawa – NNPP guber candidate

The governorship candidate of New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) in Nasarawa state, Abdullahi Yakubu Maidoya, said he was fully prepared to take over the mantle of power from governor Abdullahi Sule come 2023.

He disclosed this on Sunday, in Lafia, the state capital, during a media dialogue organised by the state council of Nigeria Union of Journalists.

He assured that he has no plan to neither withdraw his contest for governor Abdullahi Sule nor form any alliance with him.

The NNPP governorship candidate said he has continued with his campaign to enable him take charge of the affairs of the state, by 2023.

Maidoya said citizens in the state were not getting the type of governance they yearned after voting APC some years ago.

He said his administration will be centered on three cardinal points – security, education and economy.

He assured that his administration will give absolute autonomy to local government councils to enable the leaders in that level perform optimally.

Maidoya said his government will do everything possible to bring in foreign investors that would use modern technology to tap the abundant mineral resources for the benefit of the people.

According to him, if elected he will work to ensure that the state which is described as a civil service state will trigger viable business-oriented environment that will pave way for many to be engaged in entrepreneurship as well as job creation for youths of the state.
