Ibrahim Gusau ‘ll excel as NFF president – Ogunjimi

The President of Authentic Nigeria Football and Allied Sports Supporters Club ANFASSC, Prince Abayomi Ogunjimi has expressed optimism that the newly elected President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau will excel in his new position.

Ogunjimi said Gusau’s leadership traits and listening ears is a rare attribute that will in no small measure contribute to the development of Nigerian Football.

While Gusau was the Chairman of Chairmen in the previous dispensation led by Amaju Pinnick, the ANFASSC President said he played a matured role in giving several stakeholders a sense of belonging.

He said “congratulations to Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau, his emergence is timely and will hopefully give us a turnaround”

“One thing I admire about him is the fact that he is very accessible, when he led the delegation to Cameroon for the Africa Cup of Nations, he related with all stakeholders and ensured that problems were solved, particularly the supporters club, he put our interest first, he’s indeed a leader”

“Other aspirants are also capable of turning things around, we had brilliant minds at the polls, but since we can only have one president, I believe that everyone will come together to support the newly elected President “

The leader of the supporters club appealed to the newly elected NFF President not to change his administrative style, he opined that the Zamfara FA boss got the mandate due to his very cordial relationship with his colleagues and his exemplary leadership skills.

ANFASSC has now assured the new dispensation at the Glass House of its total support for all the National teams in the country.
