Following the threat against the spokesman of the Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP), Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere, Ideato Youth Forum has warned that nothing must happen to him.
The apex youth group of Ideato nation, on Sunday called the attention of the world to the plot by the Imo state government on their son after attempts to frame him.
The group, in a statement by its spokesman, Comrade Chima Uzondu, alleged that “recent events especially as they concern the unwarranted harassment of Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere, the PDP candidate for Ideato federal constituency has exposed the governor as being the one who invests time and state resources in odious efforts to destabilize the state while turning around to blame his purported political opponents for being behind the unprecedented spate of insecurity in the state.
“The Imo State Commissioner of Police should as a matter of urgency arrest the numerous unknown gunmen, who are being used to harass and intimidate those seen as presenting threats to the governor’s ambition to pocket the state.”
Pointing out that they are aware of plot against Ugochinyere, the group said warned that should a single hair fall off the skin of Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere, they will we hold Imo state government house accountable.
“And we shall make sure that we revenge, a hundred times and more, whatever happens to our illustrious son. He who has ears, let him hear,” the Ideato Youth Forum Warned.
