Odion Ighalo has finished his first season in Saudi Arabia in super style after he was named Player of the Month by his club Al Shabab.

Ighalo, 31, scored six of his nine league goals in May including a brace on the final day of the season.

However, ‘The Lions’ Al Shabab came short of winning the championship after they finished four points behind champions Al Hilal.

Ighalo joined Al Shabab in January at the end of his loan spell with Manchester United of the Premier League in England
