Ighalo plays down EPL return

Nigerian international Odion Ighalo has played down speculation linking him with at least four clubs in the English Premier League (EPL).
Stoke City, West Ham United, Southampton and Everton are reportedly interested in Ighalo’s services ahead of the January, 2018 Transfer Window.
Ighalo spoke to All Nigeria Soccer about the rumours linking him with a move away from his current club, Changchun Yatai.
“It is rumours for now, but if offers come I will study them and if it’s okay by me, why not”
Ighalo spent two and a half years at EPL club Watford, scoring 40 goals (10 assists) in 100 matches across all competitions.
Ighalo had held the transfer fee record for a Nigerian player when he joined Chinese Super League club Changchun Yatai for a fee of 23.3 million euros in January 2017.
The 28-year-old marksman scored 15 goals in 27 appearances for Yatai during the 2017 Chinese Super League season.
He also helped Nigeria qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup finals which will be hosted by Russia.
