IHF Youth Championship:Japan beat Nigeria in Macedonia

Nigeria’s  U-19 handball team yesterday continued their losing streak in the IHF Youth Championship by  35-30 to Japan in Macedonia.

In a dominant fashion, Japan completely took control of the first half against the coach Emeka Nnamani tutored side, taking a nine goal lead into the half-time break (18:9) to the delight of the fans, lots of them, neutrals who were watching the game at the Boris Trajkovski Arena, Skopje, North Macedonia.
Nigeria dominated the second period (21:17) but fell a little short in the end, only managing to come within four goals.

Daikin Kani was named best player of the match for Japan with nine strikes, while Nigeria captain Ibrahim Dikko grabbed eight for Nigeria.

The national  U-19 male team will play against Argentina.
