Ikpeba doubts if Tammy ‘ll choose Nigeria over England

Former Super Eagles forward, Victor Ikpeba has doubted if  Chelsea current goal poacher Tammy Abraham will ever want to represent Nigeria at the senior level.

Ikpeba said this during Monday Night Football on Supersports that was monitored in Abuja.

The Atlanta Olympics gold medalist who lauded Tammy’s impressive goal-scoring form for the Blues in the Premier League, said that the former Aston Villa forward won’t want to play for Nigeria.

He commended Chelsea manager, Frank Lampard for showing confidence on the youngster and believed that Tammy would continue to improve with every game.

“Having that confidence to score goals has improved Tammy Abraham at Chelsea. Credit should go to Frank Lampard for believing in him. Besides, getting a hattrick against Wolves shows that Tammy has been improving from game to game.

“However, I don’t see him playing for Nigeria’s Super Eagles despite call for his inclusion in the team. Yes, he’s a quality player but then, I doubt if he would want to play for Nigeria
