I’ll continue to address constituency needs – Magaji

The member representing Zango Kataf/Jaba Federal Constituency, Mr. Amos Gwamna Magaji, says he will continue to address identified basic needs undermining the development of the area in addition to his primary duty of law making.

Magaji said this while handing over various completed constituency projects to different communities.

He observed that priority is often misplaced when projects that do not address the real needs of the people are sited, noting that they are mostly underutilised.

The lawmaker tasked community development associations to further collaborate with political ward chairmen in identifying other needs that will have direct bearing on their lives, which will be considered in the order of their priorities.

Speaking on behalf of traditional rulers in the area, in a goodwill message, the Agom Akulu, Yohanna Sidi Kukah, lauded the people-oriented projects embarked upon by the legislator, and urged him to do more.

They tasked the people to take ownership of the projects by properly utilising them for the purposes they were meant.

In his reactions, community representatives, Honourable Philip Wada, also appreciated the legislator for fulfilling his electioneering promises, and assured him of their support to succeed.

The projects handed over include a block of three classrooms each at LGEA Primary School, Fadan Ikulu, and LGEA Primary School Chori, a block of two classrooms and a motorised borehole at LGEA Primary School Ungwan Rimi, and a health clinic at Samban Fathiak.

The member also distributed learning materials and school bags to four schools including, Government Junior Secondary school Fadan Kamantan, Government Secondary School Jankasa and Government Secondary School Junior and Senior Ngarshang Kwoi.
