I’ll leave everything to God if I lose-Matawalle

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in today’s election in Zamfara state, Alhaji Bello Matawallen Maradun, said he would concede defeat and leave everything to God Almighty if he loses.

He made the pronouncements shortly after casting his vote in his polling unit at his hometown Maradun, the headquarters of Maradun local government area of the state while fielding questions from Newsmen.

He said God already know who will be the next governor of the state, saying, he will accept all what God arranged for him not what anyone arranged for him.

“I believed as a Muslim that, only God Almighty can give  leadership to anyone he will and seize leadership from anyone he will, therefore I will accept what God Almighty destined to me in good faith pertaining this election without any objections,” Matawalle stated.

He appealed to his supporters in the state to remained law abiding citizens and restrained any move capable of causing irregularities, such as taken law into their hands, unrest during and after the election.
