I’m optimistic of victory – PRP’s Kola Abiola

The presidential candidate of the People’s Redemption Party (PRP), Alhaji Abdulatif Kola Abiola, said he was optimistic of victory in the February 25, 2023 presidential election.

The PRP candidate expressed the hope, Monday in Jos, at the party’s North Central and North East, rally where flags and party manifesto were presented various candidates.

Alhaji Kola recalled that his father won in Jos far back as 1983, primaries and general elections.

“I am the MKO here today, we have won here and I will win again. We are a people oriented family, we have done a lot to the people.

“…hold me accountable on whatever I said here,” he said.

The PRP’s National Chairman, Malam Bello Falalu, accused the ruling All Progressives Congress and that of the Peoples Democratic Party, of ruining the good fortunes of Nigeria and Nigerians.

“Don’t trust and believe in APC and PDP, their reign was a curse on Nigeria and Nigerians,” he alleged.

Mr. Bello said the PRP is not a regional party, because it has wide spread across Nigeria.

He alleged that President Buhari has seized peoples’ monies and put them in hardship.

According to him, Alhaji Kola Abiola, will, if elected President commit 40 percent of Nigeria’s budget to education, revamp agriculture, improve security and create job opportunities to all.

He said the party was not contemplating merging with any other party as far the general elections are concerned, stressing that as the oldest party in Nigeria, they have fielded candidates in all elections.
