Less than one week after the Imo state headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) was bombed by gunmen, the Orlu High Court in Orlu local government area of Imo State has been razed.
Although, Blueprint correspondent could not ascertain the level of damage at the court at the time of filing this report, an eyewitness said the roof was destroyed in a manner characteristic of all bombings by gunmen in the state, leaving some sensitive documents in both the High Court and the Magistrate’s Court in the same premises burnt.
The Imo State Police Command’s spokesman, CSP Mike Abattam, has confirmed the incident.
