Imo: Ihedioha committed to 100% salary pay to workers – AG

The Accountant General of Imo State, Mr Donald Igbo, has reiterated that the governor, Chief Emeka Ihedioha, is committed to paying 100% of workers’ salary as promised during his 2019 campaigns.

The Accountant General stated this during a press briefing in his office Thursday.

He said the insinuation in some quarters that 70% of workers’ salaries as was paid under Okorocha were paid in June, was not true but that more than that was paid.

He made it clear that from levels 1 to 6 were paid 105%, while above was paid 97%, 3% difference.

He however, assured that as soon as the committee set up by the governor to look into some anomalies arising from the already prepared salary structure was done with its job and approval given by the governor, complete 100% at all levels would be paid.
