Imo: Police operatives comb bushes in search of cop’s killers

Imo state Police operatives have commenced operations in Oguta and its environs aimed at tracking down the hoodlums who killed a police officer Friday night at the Oguta Police Station.

The newly posted Command’s spokesman, ASP Henry Okoye, who confirmed the incident Saturday evening, said there had been ongoing operations in and around Oguta to track down the hoodlums since it happened and assured that any further development would be communicated to newsmen.

He however, failed to disclose the identity of the policeman who paid the supreme price due to security reasons.
