Imo will be hot for criminals – CP

Imo state Commissioner for Police, Abdulmajid Ali, has warned that henceforth the state will be too hot for criminals, armed robbers, kidnappers and people involved in other forms of immorality.
He, therefore, advised them, in their own interest, to stay clear of the state, stressing that operatives of the Command’s Scorpion Squad had been detailed to all parts of the state.

Ali also warned parents and guardians to carefully monitor the movements of their wards to avoid falling into the waiting hands of the squad.
Meanwhile, the Command’s Scorpion Squad on March 28, 2014, arrested three armed suspects at a petrol station at Awo-omama, Oru East local government area, while on a robbery operation.
One of them died while exchanging fire with the police.
