Imoh Ezekiel gets World Cup chance

Standard Liege of Belgium hotshot, Imoh Ezekiel, has been handed his first Nigeria call-up, MTNFootball.com can report.
Ezekiel is one of three uncapped players for the pre-World Cup clash with others being Ramon Azeez of Almeria and Cercle Brugge striker, Michael Uchebo.

A source close to the 20-year-old striker told MTNFootball.com that the invitation has been sent to the player ahead of a March 5 friendly game against Mexico in the USA.

“Imoh Ezekiel has been invited to Super Eagles for the friendly against Mexico in USA. He is happy with this opportunity and will utilise the chance to the fullest,” the source told MTNFootball.com

Ezekiel has scored nine goals in the Belgian top flight this season and last year he was considered by the Nigeria U-20 team, the Flying Eagles.
The ex-36 Lion of Lagos striker has been in superb form for Standard Liege and has been linked to a change of nationality.
