Impact, contributions of late NUGLE president‘ll be missed- NUT

The Taraba state chapter of the Nigerian Union of Teachers (NUT) on Friday said that the  impact and positive  contributions of the late president of NULGE, comrade Ibrahim Khaleel, would be greatly missed.

The NUT state chairman, Comrade Peter Julius, in a condolence letter signed and a copy made available to Blueprint in Jalingo, said Khaleel contributed positively to the welfare and development of labour in Nigeria.

He maintained that his death was not only a loss to NULGE but the entire nation.

According to him, in spite of the pain of his exit, Khaleel should be celebrated because he left a legacy for members of the union and the entire Nigerian society.

“It is not about how long someone lived but how many persons he touched.

” If we all learn from Khaleel’s attributes, we will surely change our society,” he said.

Blueprint report that Khaleel who was also the national treasurer of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), slumped on Wednesday and was rushed to National Hospital Abuja, where he was confirmed dead.

Heprayed God to grant the family he left behind the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
