The Publicity Secretary of All Progressive Congress (APC) in Orhionmwon local government area of Edo state, Mr. Roy Osariemen, and Amb Lucky Makinde Aghahowa have distributed relief materials to the people Ologbo Nugu, Ugu ward 09 in the area.
Speaking during the distribution of the food items, Roy said the exercise was to assist the people in order to cushion the effect of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in the area.
He however, adviced them to offer prayers, for it’s only God that can intervene in the pandemic.
According to him, “In our own little way, we decided to give this little stuffs to our people. we know the economic hardship they re presently facing. We should continue to pray and observe all the preventive measures as stated by the government”.
On his part, Amb. Lucky Aghahowa adviced the people to constantly wash their hands, ensure social distance and report any suspected case to the nearest health centre.
