The council leader of Ijumu Legislative Council, Hon. Olayinka Omoshagba and Chief whip of the council, Hon. Theophilus have been impeached.
They were impeached at a plenary on Monday, after the council leader was alleged of incompetence, display of high headedness and arrogance.
She was further accused of being a stark illiterate who could not differentiate between motion and bill.
At the same plenary, Hon. Mayowa Olumodeji was sworn in as the new council leader.
