In Nasarawa, APC stakeholders pass vote of confidence on Buhari, Sule, Al-Makura

The All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders from Nasarawa south senatorial district, Saturday, passed a vote of confidence on President Muhammad Buhari.

The stakeholders made this known in a communique read by one of the stakeholders, Mamman Alakayi, in Lafia, the state capital after an expanded meeting of APC critical stakeholders from the zone.

Alakayi said the meeting has passed the vote of confidence on the government of President Muhammad Buhari, on his laudable achievements and his presence in Nasarawa state.

The stakeholders notably pointed out the stationioning of the Police mobile force school in the state, Military base in Doma and Air force base in Lafia all geared towards curbing the incessant insecurity around the country particularly in Nasarawa state as some of his achievements.

“We rounded up a meeting under the leadership of the state deputy governor Emmanuel Akabe, I have a mandate of the party to address you on the resolutions reached,” Alakayi said.

The communique further passed a vote of confidence on Governor Abdullahi Sule, and noted that all the efforts put together so far particularly in sustaining the developmental stride laid by his predecessor.

The meeting therefore, urged governor Sule to sustain the tempo and improve where necessary.

The communique overwhelmingly passed a vote of confidence on Senator Umaru Al-Makura on the existing representation.

The meeting therefore, urged the party to sustain the tempo and appreciate in no small the efforts of Senator Umaru Almakura in supporting the convocation of such meeting.

It further urged a closer working ties between Senator Al-Makura and government of the state, so as to carry the state to the next levels.
