In Nasarawa, Gov Sule condoles family of slain Miyetti Allah chairman, vows to hunt perpetrators

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa state, Saturday, condoled the family of the slain Nasarawa state chairman of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria with a promise to fish out the perpetrators of the act.

Sule promised to work with security agencies to arrest and prosecute criminal elements disturbing the peace in the state.

The governor spoke when he attended the funeral prayers for Mohammed Hussein, the Miyetti Allah leader who was killed by unknown persons in Garaku, Kokona local government area of the state.

A statement issued to newsmen by his Chief Press Secretary Ibrahim Addra in Lafia, called on those bent on breaching the peace enjoyed in the state to turn a new leaf for the development of the society.

The governor expressed sadness over the killing but cautioned against reprisal attacks capable of worsening situations. 

He therefore, urged family of the deceased to remain faithful and take solace in God while assuring that his administration will continue to work hard towards ensuring adequate security of lives and property in the state.
