In Yobe, Buni swears in 7 perm secs, others

Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe state has sworn-in seven Permanent Secretaries, Judicial Service Commission members and permanent member State Independent Electoral Commission (SIEC).

Governor Buni while congratulating them said the event was significant to the present administration in the state in line with its drive to facilitate effective service delivery.

Buni who spoke at the swearing in ceremony, Wednesday, inside government house Damaturu noted that their appointments were based on their dedication, determination, loyalty and commitment to service.

“I believe that you will justify the confidence reposed on you by the government and good people of the state.

“I urge you to be guided by the code of ethics and conduct your selves in conformity of oaths of allegiance and office your sworn to uphold,” he said.

The newly sworn parmanent secretaries are Usman M Bura, Ali Mustapha, Isa Bukar, Ajiya Alhaji Musa, Audi Umaru, Abdullahi Abba and Hamish Musa.

Re-appointed Judiciary Service members who are to serve for the second term are Barr Yusuf Bala Haladu, Alhaji Ibrahim Gaji, Alhaji Baba Gishiwari and new member Barr Gambo Husaini.

While Alhaji Kyari Abubakar is the newly appointed permanent member SIEC, Yobe state.
