Inauguration: Sule outline activities for May 29

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa state Friday, rolled-out activities lined up to mark his one year celebration in office.

Deputy Governor of the state Dr. Emmanuel Akabe, made the disclosure at a press briefing in Lafia on Friday.

He said the celebration will be low-key, restricted and adhered strictly to the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control protocol to contain the spread of COVID-19.

Sule explained that the programme will commence with Friday Juma’at Prayer and an interdenominational service on Sunday May 24.

He said there would be inauguration and flagging off of new projects of from Monday.

He listed other activities to include; stewardship by commissioners and head of Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) from Monday-Thursday, media charts on Thursday 28th and live broadcast with the governor on Friday may 29.

“Various commissioners will appear on different platform to discuss on the achievements of the government in various ministries,” he said.

The governor said that a 25 kilometre road projects at Ugede Beki in Nasarawa local government area would be Flagged off.

 He said the ongoing 15 kilometre road projects at Sisin Baki-Farin Ruwa in Wamba local government area of the state among others wold also be flagged off.
