Insecurity: Letter to Mr President

With all due respect and loyalty Sir, I would like to bring to your notice the sad happenings in the country, which have resulted to the murder of Barrister Ahmad Gulak and the Chief Provost of the Nigerian Immigration Service, Imo state Command, Okiemute Mrere, by unknown gunmen.

Sir, you have to intervene on this sad development induced by unpatriotic citizens who are hiding under the umbrella of IPOB to undertake their heinous activities of putting our one and only country in chaos and economic crisis.

Since Nigeria is practising democratic system of government, IPOB members should be thoroughly investigated and brought to book for violating the tenets of democracy.

Allowing them to freely carry out their nefarious activities which are aimed at destabilising our country could be cataclysmic. Our security personnel know all the hidden places of these people. So, why are they not arrested and prosecuted in order to uncover their sponsors?

Their mission is apparently to destroy this nation through succession, considering the fact that they have for quite some time been burning down Nigerian security agencies’ stations which would lead the government to lose a humongous amount of funds in rebuilding the said agencies amidst the wobbling economy.

In a nutshell, I would like to advise the federal government to urgently stop the secession bid of these people which is unconstitutional before they inflict on us a worm that would forever remain unhealed.

Mallam Musbahu Magayaki
