In a bid to bring its operatives up to date with internationally acceptable standards the National Taskforce on the Prohibition of Illegal Importation/Smuggling of Arms, Ammunitions, Light Weapons, Chemical Weapons, and Pipeline Vandalism. (NATFORCE) is partnering with renowned International Security Trainer Organisation, ETOS Company.
NATFORCE Director General, Dr. Baba Mohammed, made this known while receiving a delegation from Israeli outfit to train the management staff and operatives of the taskforce.
According to Baba, “The fulfillment derived could not be overemphasised as the long-awaited delegation from Israel finally arrived at NATFORCE Head office as part of its technology transfer.
He said, “NATFORCE in addition to local training arrangements has also initiated and concluded arrangements for comprehensive training of its workforce by ETOS Company, a world-renowned International Security Trainer Organization.
“ETOS has trained several security establishments including the military within and beyond African shores hence can offer the NATFORCE management team and Operatives the professional training they deserve.”
He disclosed that, “To fast track the training for the optimal benefit of all we have set up a Committee that comprises experienced serving and retired military personnel to deliberate on the date of training commencement, duration, venue, as well as logistics needed.”
The NATFORCE boss expressed optimism that the training would bring huge success story to the federal government in the effort to combat insurgency, banditry, proliferation of illegal arms and ammunition, and violent crimes in Nigeria.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) ETOS, Mr. Eyal Tal, in his brief remarks during the visit, promised to engage high-tech security equipment along with artificial intelligence to maximally accomplish the goal of the training.
