Insecurity: Zamfara monarch calls for prayers, celebrates 25 years on throne

The Emir of Moriki in Zamfara state, Alhaji Samai’la Muhammad Ari, has called for more spiritual devotion during the fasting period to overcome current security challenges facing the country.

The monarch made the call Tuesday at his palace during special prayer session to mark his 25 years on the throne.

According to him, for the country to have overcomes the security challenges, there was need for total spiritual supplications to Almighty God for peace to thrive.

“Indeed, the current Insecurity challenges facing the country need total devotional supplications to Almighty Allah by all Nigerians irrespective of their religion or tribal inclinations for the return of a relative peace in the Country”. The Emir stated.

“I am using this time to thank Allahu Subhanallahu Wata’ala for sparing our lives to witness this moment”, he added.

He prayed to Allah for the sustenance of peace and stability in the state and the country as a whole.

Blueprint reports that Alhaji Samai’la Muhammad Ari was appointed as district head of Moriki on the 27th April, 1996 and later upgraded to the status of an emir in 2000 during the administration of former Governor Ahmad Sani Yeriman Bakura.
