Insecurity: Zauzzau monarch urges citizens to assist security agencies with information

The Emir of Zazzau and chairman, Kaduna state Council of Emirs and Chiefs, Ambassador Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, has charged members of the public to assist security agencies with useful information in the fight against insecurity and other social vices in the country.

He gave the charge while addressing his subjects at the occasion of Eid-el-fitr celebration to mark the end of Ramadan fasting held at his palace in Zaria Thursday.

Ambassador Bamalli stated that the situation was alarming and it affects almost every part of the country, hence the need for all hands to be on deck.

The emir further stated that by assisting security agencies, the security crisis would be stamped out or drastically reduced to minimal a point.

“As long as the problems of insecurity continues like this, we will continue to go backward and there won’t be any development,” he said.

The Emir prayed Allah to bring back the bandits to track in order to stop kidnapping of innocent common man for ransom.

On the just concluded Ramadan fasting, Ambassador Bamalli stated that it teaches generosity, love, sympathy for less privileged and fear of Allah amongst the Muslim faithful.

The traditional ruler also called for intensive prayer to seek divine intervention to bring an end to insecurity such as kidnapping for ransom, banditry and other social vices.

He thanked the state governor, Mallam Nasir Ahmed El-Rufai, for people oriented projects he executed from the time his government came onboard.
