Flagging-off the distribution in Fune town of Fune local government area of the state on Saturday, the Resident Pastor of the Church in Damaturu, Shedrack Egene, said “the aim was to assist and meet the needs of fellow brothers who became IDPs as result of the attacks by the insurgents.”

“The items were received from our headquarters, so the church is playing its role in assisting and praying with the vulnerable people.

“Yobe happens to be one of the beneficiaries and the humanitarian aid is ongoing across the country simultaneously” he said.
