Iorhemba now PDP deputy national scribe

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has reassigned Right Honourable Dave Iorhemba from the post of National Legal Adviser to that of the Deputy National Secretary of the party.
A statement by National Publicity Secretary of the party, Prince Dayo Adeyeye, the leadership of the party resolved to the reassign him because of the party’s need for extra hand in the running of administration ahead of the forthcoming Electoral National Convention.
“Th e Decision is taken without prejudice but in view of the fact that the National Caretaker Committee (NCC) is no longer too pressured with legal matters since the Supreme Court Judgement of July 12, 2017.
“Also, the National Chairman, Sen Ahmed Makarfi , has appointed the immediate past National Legal Adviser, Kwon Victor, as his Special Adviser (Legal Aff airs).
” Iorhemba, a former Speaker of Benue Syate House of Assembly, has been a member of the National Caretaker Committee since the party emerged from the Port Harcourt convention
