IPMAN mourns late Salisu Butu, says death shocking

The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), said it received with shock the dead of its Suleja/Abuja depot chairman, late Alhaji Salisu Abdullahi Butu, who passed away on Friday.

In a condolence message issued by IPMAN national Secretary Alhaji Danladi Garba Pasali, described the death as saddened moments.

It said late Salisu Butu was an epitome of peace, balanced justice, fairness and brotherhood amongst people.

“One will for long continue to remember, late Butu’s immense contributions, towards peaceful resolution of the leadership crisis, that ensued in our Independent Petroleum Marketers Association (IPMAN), which he strived till time of his demise.

“Late Butu’s peace strides does not start and end at organisational level, but had impacted on person to person and community to community,” it said.

According to IPMAN, late Butu’s sterling qualities earned him the trust and confidence of members that elected him as chairman of its Suleja/Abuja depot, a position he held till time of his dead.

“Some other glaring features in the persona, of late brother, Butu, was his constant strived to uphold balanced justice, fairness, and brotherhood amongst people.

“And for sure he will continued to be remembered for his unwavering compromise over issues that promote peaceful coexistence, truthfulness and his philanthropic gesture at the less privileged in the society, are worth acknowledging and mentioning too,” IPMAN said.

They prayed Allah, to grant him Jannatil Firdaus, a place of abode.
