Is it high time Omotola dropped the ‘Omosexy’ tag?

In the past, many have wondered if it was proper for beautiful actress and mother of four Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde to continue to paradise herself as Omosexy(a nickname given to her by her hubby years back).
While younger and immature celebs such as Seyi Shay, Cynthia Morgan, Toyin Aimakhu, Beverly Osun, Yemi Alade and others may be excused for showing off sexiness through clothings and Photo poses, Omotola is expected by some fans to have outgrown that, not to talk of answering the alias, “Omosexy”.
Perhaps, they perceive her to be gradually nearing the league of Joke Silva and the likes, however, judging from her recent response to a fan, Omosexy has no intention of toning down on her sexy image one bit.
She has got the perfect words or should we say excuse, to continue her “lifestyle”.

There are two things involved; Nigerian celebrities only reinvent themselves as long as money and more fame are involved and secondly, don’t even try to correct them for anything because, as far as they are concerned, you are a troll! And their skills at putting up an offense or defense beats their skills at acting, singing, etc.
Even, when some of them try to reply you politely, you can’t help but notice the strong-headedness or arrogance in their response..
Below is how Omotola schooled (in her own words) one of her fans who called her out for showing too much skin in her latest Glitz Africa magazine feature; she has a style of not attacking directly, so as to come off as polite and innocent…
The fan wrote; “Omotola…too much flesh…haba…next time tell them you aint doing it…even with hijab, you will still look hot. The photographers played a trick on you..see the cut around your waist…like you are in G-string…it was deliberate to create that impression…you are a mom of 4,married, role model, you are not Toyin Aimakhu or Cynthia Morgan…it’s high time you dropped the tag ‘Omosexy’. You are old and almost grandma now.”

Omotola replied; “Ok dear, thanks for your compliments but let m school you a bit. I’m an entertainer and when you see shoots, movies, music I’m doing a job of representing the omosexy brand. When you see me on the red carpets etc I represent Omotola. Either way, I’m clear headed to know what works for me. Only thought to write you as you sounded “genuinely” confused and concerned. Thanks.”
Those horde of fans who kiss the butts don’t even help matters… This was the same Omotola who attacked journalists and bloggers for referring to her inappropriately dressed daughter as “sexy” sometimes back…
