Ishaku governs Taraba from Kaduna – Dodo

A governorship aspirant on the platform of All Progressives Congress, Barr Kabiru Umar Dodo during the weekend said Taraba state Governor, Arc.
Darius Dickson Ishaku has been ruling the state from Kaduna.
Barr Dodo stated this in Jalingo, the Taraba state capital while addressing journalists as part of the activities marking his declaration to run for the governorship of the state.
According to him, successive administrations of the Peoples Democratic Party in the state has failed the people but the worst being the three years of governor Ishaku whom he said knows nothing about the problems of the state.
He further said, instead of staying within to appreciate the needs of the communities in the state, “the governor decides to be ruling Taraba state from Kaduna state as if he is the governor of Kaduna state.
Due to lack of commitment by the governor, the few projects he awarded as contracts only served his purpose of looking the treasury of the state.
He cited the example of the road project in Yorro local government of the state where he said, N2billion has been paid to the contractor who did nothing and left the project site.
The Ahmadu Bello University trained lawyer said he will certainly correct the imbalance in the recent creation and upgrading of chiefdoms in the state by the present administration, which he opined is a deliberate strategy to divert attention and create acrimony amongst the communities.
