How Ishaku injected N500m in Taraba savings and loans, revived 8 Coys – MD

In an effort to improve the economic of Taraba state, Governor Darius Ishaku has injected over 500m into Taraba savings and loans in the last three years.

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Taraba State Investment and Property Limited, Mr. Iliya Ezekiel, disclosed this while fielding questions from Journalists in in Jalingo.

He said the money was in line with the governor’s vision of making the bank one of the best savings and loans banks in the country.

Ezekiel maintained that, the governor had also within last four years of his first tenure revived eight moribund companies which has reduced the rate of unemployment.

He said the companies includes Taraba Oils limited, Taraba Gas, Taraba vegitable company producers of Cocumber as well as Mambilla beverages who are the producers of ‘Highland Tea’ and has over three thousand workers including women among others.

Mr. Iliya Ezekiel who described Governor Ishaku as a complete businessman and administrator who believes in profit, also vowed to ensure the sustainability of these companies for the benefit of Tarabians.

“You see, the Man is a complete businessman, if he gives you something he wants to see that that is profitable and that is the spirit of sustainability, because without profit you are eating your capital,” Ezekiel said.
