Champions League: Which teams ‘ll join Ajax, Porto, United, Tottenham in quarter-final place? Have your say

After first batch of matches in the knockout stage of 2018/2019 Champions League were concluded on Wednesday, its now clear that non-favourites – Ajax, Porto, Tottenham Hotspurs and Manchester United have booked their quater-final places.

United’s qualification was perhaps the most surprising of all, after the fourth-placed English Premier League (EPL) team beat all odds (overturn 2-0) first leg deficit to shock PSG 1-3 in Paris Wednesday night.

United thus became the first team in the history of Champions League to achieve that feat at the knockout stage of the competition.

It now remains to be seen the other four sides to emerge by next week.

Two more EPL clubs – Manchester City and Liverpool are still in the race. While City face Shalke 04 inside Etihad stadium next week Tuesday, Liverpool will be away to Bayern in the return leg fixture at Allianz Arena.

Liverpool were held to a 0-0 draw by Bayern at Anfield. However, City overcame Shalke 2-3 away.

Next week Wednesday, Barcelona will lock horns with Lyon inside Camp Nou, same Juventus will welcome Atletico Madrid that earned 2-0 adavntage in the first leg encounter.

Bookmaker are already fancying the chances of Barcelona, City and Atletico after their superlative first leg performance.
