Others from West Africa are: Andoh Komson, David Ahiaba, Ebenezer Whyte, Tiendrebeogo Paul and Ramzi Malnulouk.

ITTF’s Ahmed Dawatly is the course conductor/trainer.

James Eakyns, the Secretary-General, Nigeria Table Tennis Federation (NTTF) said they used the home advantage to empower many Nigerian coaches.

According to Eakyns, since it is taking place here in Nigeria, they are not spending much to empower them and impact more knowledge.

“Yes Nigerians are more and it is a good one for us since its taking place in our country, Nigeria.

“We will have more coaches who would have passed level two at the end of the training.

“We need to keep learning and these coaches would have gained a lot at the end of the training.

“We don’t stop learning if we aspire to be the best,’’ he said.

The course will end on May 19. (NAN)
