I‘ve cured judges, senators others of HIV/AIDS – Cure claimant

Prince Ayodele Adeleye is a   laboratory science graduate from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. The medical science researcher commonly called professor researched into some ailments, including HIV/AIDS all of which he now claims to have the right cure. In this interview with IDIBA GABRIEL, the former staff of ABUTH speaks on how he came about the cure and the accompanying challenges

How the journey started
I studied laboratory science and majored in parasitology from ABU Zaria from where I emerged as the best graduating student in my department. I worked for about 21 years under the government as a member of staff of ABUTH. I started working at the age of 19 and retired at the age of 40. After retirement, I started my own outfit of
Yaro Medicare. I devoted my two years toward my retirement time for  research into some ailments which I’m now doing. They ailments include diabetics control,
asthma, ulcer cures and fibroid treatment without surgical operation. We also work on hepatitis where I discovered a drug during my research that takes care of it for between 4-5 days, it kills the virus and provide permanent cure.

On HIV
The case of HIV also came into play during the time of my retirement. As a successful researcher that has done well in all the areas mentioned, I went into HIV/AIDS, and as God would have it, I came out  successful, and the treatment time takes only 2-4 hours now. The therapy kills the virus and converts it to permanent immunity if the patient treated stays away from sex for 6 months. After treatment, you will be put on Immune drugs to boost your immunity that might have been suppressed, and sooner be released to go and live your normal live. But we have problems here.
What are they and which way out

Yes, there are many men who may be testing negative, when their wife is positive, we beg them to take treatment but they refused. We had to treat their wife because they said they are negative but they don’t allow their wives to rest. After treatment, they will be having sex with their wives and their wives begin to have problem. I have about five of them on my list which for whom we had to  make some sacrifice by treating their husbands free to allow the women  do what they want her to do.

For those that we have to treat the husband, they are free to have sex. There is one from Taraba state, we treated her alone and asked her to stay away. She started having problems after four years. There is another one in my church who later got herself into trouble because she refused to stay clear from the husband. Both of them refused to wait, so she later died. These are some of the challenges we still face.  So, men whose wives are positive, but they are negative, are source of infection to innocent ones. These are the things we don’t want.
Our journey through all our research and experience, shows that  those who benefited from it are the ones advertising us by telling organizations and others what we are doing. We did not on our own do any advertisement. Our work also advertised itself. Diabetics’ patients coming to know what we do are the one telling others who come to participate and it continues to go on and on like that.
We have gone through a lot of challenges concerning the HIV. NGO like Women for

Peace in Nigeria (WOPIN) tries to project us to government after acknowledging what we are doing. They went very far and later stopped. We wrote to state government agencies such as States Action Committee on HIV/AIDS, most of them are silent. Kaduna state invited us during late Governor Yakowa administration, when we went to the office, they tricked us and messed the whole thing up and that was all.
We treated two girls in Zamfara state through the commissioner of health who observed them and was very surprised. He took our issue to the Head of State through the minister. He told them about me. All that happened was that the president, through my effort, asked them to include herbal medicine into
orthodox medicine. Though since then we have not heard anything, but I know that government is aware of my work except for certain bureaucratic reasons, we are yet to be there. However, individuals who want to save their lives have been coming. I’m glad to say that those who took my therapy and able to abide by the rules of  no sex for six months except  those whose husbands also took the treatment, have no problem.
Getting international agency’s support
Yes, I didn’t make my own personal effort, but people who benefited from me made efforts. For example, Zamfara state commissioner for health actually went far to tell them in WHO about my work. There are some few individuals who wrote to
VOA and other places on my behalf, and I  ave copies of their letters. There was one old man who is a doctor, interested in HIV. He came across me and said that he had been mandated to search for cure for HIV among all those who claim to have it. He actually brought two people for treatment which we did. One died for not keeping to rules, the other one is alive and kicking in Abuja till date without taking Anti-retro Viral Drugs anymore.
The problem with those who receive the treatment and cure is refusing to show up due to fear of stigmatization. They include all calibre of people such as judges, doctors, lawyers, senators as well as members , House of Representatives. They would not want to be exposed.

When did you start and how many did you treat?
Well, I started the research many years ago even before any other claimant in Nigeria, but with the use of animals as an experiment. I later used it on child patient of a family friend. The child had problem when I was away and was taken to the hospital and transfused with HIV blood.  Even though the disease was still relatively unknown in the country, I administered my therapy on the child repeatedly  until he became well.

From there, the story started going out to other families of my HIV cure. So we work hard and treated so many other people in the first one year free of charge until we became  exhausted. I tried to reach out to WHO, they turned me down, Kaduna State Committee on HIV/AIDS, Ministry of health under the leadership of Prof.
Babatunde Osotimehin  also turned down my request. When I pressed further, the minister asked me to go to NSPRI and when I got there, they told me they don’t have the facility to assess my HIV therapy but could assess whether the therapy is good for human consumption or not. They confirmed it as non toxic.

That was how we ended it. We tried to approach many other state governments but the responses were very poor.
A  journalist(names withheld) and some other people  went to Taraba State and organized a launching to assist HIV people on my behalf. There were about three of us that were to be considered. The money that was gathered together was about #250 million. The whole thing died off as none of us had seen anything from there. At the time of WOPIN, it was agreed that we were going to treat 2 persons living with HIV from each state for millions of Naira under Federal Government arrangement, but again this was later truncated.   So individuals are the ones projecting us by informing their friends on what we are doing and the friends have been coming forward.  There were so many that we have treated from 1990 till today.

They are in thousands: in fact, between 3,000-5,000 people have been treated so far.
I have them in a very big booklet form. And all the report I have is that they are doing very well. In alive  programmes with FRCN and NAGARTA, on  Radio kaduna, I had a sleepless night due to callers calling to appreciate me for the good work I  have done for them.

Relationship with military institution
As a matter of fact, I did a seminar with the Nigeria Army.  There was huge attendance in the  hope that  anybody who is positive will be treated. A lady came, she had no money even to buy immune booster drugs, but we treated her. Although, there was no feedback till today, but at the time I finished treatment with her, she was healthy. One thing I know is that if they are happy, you don’t see them anymore.

Accolades
Yes, some of the awards are from West African merit Award in Ghana, others are from Kenya, Serra Leon among others. I have a lot of them from many African countries and African organization and from Nigerians, totalling about 72 Awards. I rejected.

Cost  of treatment non affordable
Like i said, I have written to so many states  of my discovery. I told them that our treatment time is so short between 2-4hours now. With enough materials, I can treat 20,000 people in a day. It cost N1.5 million to produce a treatment for one person. I provided free service for a year and became exhausted. We need money to cushion our expenses because we have been doing it for N50,000, N100,000, N150,000 at different times. For us to remain in business, we have to charge N1million and above now for each treatment for those who can afford it. If we have government’s support, it will cost less because cost of our production will drop for us.
