JAMB: Unilorin turns back candidates over indicent dressing


Candidates who were not properly dressed in compliance with the university of Ilorin dress codes were Thursday turned back at the Computer Based Test (CBT) centre of Joint Admission and Matriculation Board inside University of Ilorin (UNILORIN).
The authority of the university had banned skimpy dresses, tight clothes for male and femae, Brazilian hair and female dressing exposing cleavages.


There are four CBT centres located within the permanent sites of the university.

Blueprint correspondent gathered that candidates arrived the centre as early as 7 am  to write their exams.

Some were accompanied by their parents and guardians who had to wait to convey their children home .
When the candidates were asked to file in for the exams,  those who were not dressed in compliance with the unilorin dress code were asked to go home and dress property before they were allowed in again.

Our correspondent who monitored the conduct of the exercise reported that the exercise went on smoothly without any hitch.
An official of JAMB who spoke with our correspondent said the exercise went on smoothly.
“Everything went on smoothly,we have just concluded the third session which is the last one for the day”,he said 
Other centres where the examination took place included Effective, Broad band ,Parrot all along Tanke -university road Ilorin.
