Jema’a LG chair meets APC, PDP bosses, urges unity

Kafanchan Chairman, Jema’a local government council of Kaduna state, Mr. Peter Danjuma Averik, has urged leaders of the All Progressives Party (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to unite and work together to move the local government area great.
He made the call yesterday when he addressed at a meeting which took place at the Council headquarters.
Averik said making Kaduna state and Jema’a local government great could only be possible through the collaboration of all, irrespective of party differences.
According to him, “it is against this backdrop that I decided to summon the meeting to appeal to all people to come together by putting aside their differences and work out the innovations that will pave way for peace and meaningful development.” He appealed to members of the political parties to always feel free to approach him on issues pertaining to the development of the area, stressing that he would be fair to all.
The chairman reiterated his commitment to building bridges of peace, mutual respect and understanding among the people.
In their separate remarks, the APC and PDP chairmen, Alhaji Ibrahim Koli and Mr. Nathaniel Bawa, respectively, commended the chairman for calling the meeting to resolve certain issues.
