JIBWIS commiserates with Buhari, Sultan over Emir Shehu Idris

The national headquarters of Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’ah Wa’Ikamatis Sunnah (JIBWIS) has commiserated with President Muhammadu Buhari and Sultan Sa’ad Abubakar III over the death of the Emir of Zazzau, Alhaji Shehu Idris.

National Chairman Council of Ulama, Sheikh Sani Yahaya Jingir, said in a commiseration message, Tuesday that the late emir was a leader that tirelessly worked for the promotion of peaceful coexistence in the country.

This was contained in a press release issued by the JIBWIS national publicity secretary, Ahmad Muhammad Ashiru, in Jos.

Sheikh Jingir said, he on behalf of the entire leadership of the organisation, and its members, are touched by the death of the late emir.

“JIBWIS is extending its condolences to President Buhari (GCFR), Sultan Muhammad Saad Abubakar III, Governor Nasir el-Rufai, of Kaduna state, the Zazzau Emirate Council, family members and entire people of Nigeria,” he said.

Sheikh Jingir, while mourning the death of late Idris, further supplicates for Allah’s mercy and forgiveness on his soul.

“May Allah grant him His Rahama and Aljannar Firdaus, a place of abode,” he stated.

He also prayed Allah, to console his family, the president, Sultan, Governor El-Rufai and the people, to bear the irreplaceable lost.
