No fewer than 10 persons were confirmed dead in a ghastly motor accident yesterday at Sada village, along Kazaure-Daura road in Jigawa state.
Our correspondent gathered that the accident involved two model F commercial buses, one coming from Daura town and the other coming from Kano city, with registration numbers AE 200 TTK IMO and QC 415 EKY Lagos, respectively.
However, confirming the accident, the Jigawa State Commandant of Civil Defence Corps, Dr Muhammad Gidado. Fari, said the accident claimed 10 lives, including 5 males, 5 females including 2-year-old boy.
He therefore warned “drivers to stop taking human lives and destroying property unnecessarily through recklessness, unprofessional and indecent pattern of driving”.
