Jigawa contributory pension scheme pays N724m to 429 beneficiaries

The Jigawa State and Local Government Contributory Pension Scheme Board has paid over N724 million as terminal and monthly pension benefit for the month of July, 2018 to the beneficiaries.
This was disclosed by the acting Executive Secretary of the Board, Malam Musa Muhammad Yanleman while addressing reporters in his office yesterday.
He said the board had paid the money to 429 beneficiaries comprising the retirement benefits of about 146 retirees and the death benefits of 27 beneficiaries among others.
He therefore called on the beneficiaries to ensure that they have use it judiciously as dividend of their long term services in the State.
Yalleman also assured that the board will continue to maintain its best position in terms of paying the pension or retirement benefits across the state without delay or hindrance as at when due.
