Jigawa first in budget implementation – APC guber candidate 


The gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressive candidate in Jigawa state, Alhaji Umar Namdi Dan Modi, Monday, said the government of Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar, emerged first in terms of 100 percent budget implementation among his peers of the 35 states of the federation and Abuja.

The candidate stated this while addressing a large gathering of APC followers at Malam- Modori town as part of his campaign tour to local government areas of the state.

He said before now, Jigawa was lagging behind in terms of budget prudence, and accountability, but since governor Badaru took over the mantle of leadership of the state over seven years  ago, he changed the train to make the state  emerges first in many spares of life because of resilience , prudent management of public resources, discipline ,honesty  and good governance.

Dan said the state was first in the areas of water supply, according to UNICEF ratings, second in terms of provision of health care facilities and first in the area of reduction of open defecation as well as cleanliness.

The candidate assured that if voted into power, he will maintain and continue with all those attributes and even do more, especially in the areas of infrastructure and human development in the state.
