Jigawa monarch charges subjects to be security conscious

The Emir of Kazaure, Jigawa state, Alhaji Najeeb Hussaini Adamu has charged his subjects in particular and Nigerians in general to be security conscious and contribute to addressing the prevailing security situation in the country.

The emir gave the charge in his address, Monday before the large crowd of people who thronged his palace on Eid el-Kabir Sallah festivity.
Emir Najeeb said it had become imperative for everyone to be extra
vigilant, considering the precarious security problem bedevilling the
country, especially in the North-east and North-west geo-political
zones where a number of lives have been lost as a result of attacks by gun
men.
He  admonished  the people to be at alert on the movement of
unidentified people roaming within their domains and quickly report such
to the constituted authorities who will take drastic measures
with a view to ensuring lasting peace.
The emir called on his subjects to give out zakkat, considering that bumper harvest is being expected in the country this cropping season.

Najeeb Adamu also charged his people to ensure that they
give their children sound education in order to build their future,
saying without education,  no development will take place.
In his brief message on behalf of the Jigawa state Governor Muhammad Badaru  Abubakar, represented by the deputy speaker of the state Assembly, Hon Isah Kadira, expressed  delight over the fatherly advice  enjoyed from the traditional leader.
