Jigawa pays N724m terminal benefits to 429 beneficiaries

Jigawa State and Local Government Contributory Pension Board has paid over N724 million as terminal and monthly pension benefit for the month of July to 429 beneficiaries.
Acting Executive Secretary of the Board, Malam Musa Muhammad Yanleman, disclosed this while addressing reporters in his office yesterday.
According to him, the board paid the money to the 429 beneficiaries, comprising retirement benefits to about 146 retirees and death benefits to 27 beneficiaries among others.
He therefore called on the beneficiaries to ensure that they use the benefits judiciously as dividends of their long term services in the state.
Yalleman also assured that the board would continue to maintain its best position in terms of paying the pension and retirement benefits across the state as at when due.
