Jigawa state SUBEB set to construct more classrooms

The Jigawa state Universal Basic Education Board has it is poised to upgrading the infrastructure of education sector in the state.

 A statement by the Spokesman of the board, Wasilu Umar over the weekend in Dutse said the projects would be executed under the third and fourth quarters of 2019 Universal Education Commission and State Universal Education Board (UBEC/SUBEB) Intervention Projects.

He said this while addressing the bidders at the opening of bids for the construction of teachers’ quarters, renovation of classrooms, procurement of classrooms furniture, construction of toilets and drilling of hand pumps across the state.

Umar quoted the SUBEC secretary as its saying the goal will never be achieved without provision of adequate classrooms and furniture in the schools.
