Jonathan bribed Jang-led govs’ forum with N32bn — Kwankwaso

Kano State Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso yesterday accused President Goodluck Jonathan of bribing each member of Governor Jonah Jang-led Nigerian Governors’ Forum N2 billion, to break the rank of the united forum.
He made the accusation when the Director General of Nigeria Governor Forum, Mr. A.B. Okauru, paid him a working visit in Kano.

He said: “It is unfortunate that “some people don’t want peace in this country, we went for an election, we elected Rivers State Governor with 19 votes as our chairman against Governor Jonah Jang, who got 16 votes, and yet the president refused to accept the outcome”.

“As we prepare for the 2015 elections, I want PDP as a party, and those that will contest on its platform, to be aware that there is no way Nigerians will vote for a party that its only achievement is massive looting, running into millions of dollars, insecurity and brazen lies and complete insecurity.”

“Even a mad person today knows that there is a government in Kano, Mr. DG. After the visit, please take your time and visit Kano metropolis and see the human and capital revolution that is going on.

“Imagine, in one ministry, over $20 billion dollars was stolen, and this was exposed by nobody but the CBN Governor himself. And how did the president react? He suspended the CBN Governor and the minister in charge of that ministry is very much functioning in her office. This is a shame!”
