Arrangements have been concluded for President Goodluck Jonathan to commission the multi-billion-naira Phases 3 and 4 of the Abuja water treatment plants on Thursday (tomorrow).

Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, who disclosed this yesterday in his office, added that the commissioning would take place at the Lower Usuma Dam on Bwari Road, Abuja.

According to him, when these treatment plants are commissioned, they are expected to treat 20,000M3/HR that is 20,000 cubic meter of water per hour and will go a long way in bidding farewell to water scarcity in the Federal Capital City and its environs.
He said the occasion would further translate the Transformation Agenda of President Goodluck Jonathan to the residents of the territory.
