Geoffrey Joseph from Adamawa state has emerged winner of President Buhari Golf Cup Tournament semi final hosted at the Kaduna Golf Club 1921.
Joseph scored 133 net over two days to win the semi final, just as Ibrahim Isa scored 136 net over two days to place second, while Emily Ojo scored 137 net to place third.
Isaiah, Friday Musa, Justina Gideon, Austin Agbi, J.N. Shuwa, Ali Ibrahim, Dorcas Daniel and Emma Owoicho are the other qualifiers from Kaduna that would join 60 other qualifiers from the six geopolitical zones for the final scheduled for Kaduna.
The qualifiers for the final of the competition, sponsored by Daily Trust, includes 10 ladies from across the country.
Speaking during the semi final, Daily Trust General Manager Business and Strategy, Ahmed Shekarau said the company will partner with Kaduna Golf Club and Nigeria Golf Federation to ensure that the tournament is sustained beyond this year.
