Journalists confer global icon award on Prophet Agada

The National Association of Development Journalists, (NADEJ) has conferred the Global Icon of women empowerment and national development award on the
General Overseer of Faith Arena Prophetic and Deliverance Ministry, Prophet Monday Patrick Agada.

The award presentation took place at the church auditorium in Kuchida Across, Ushafa, Abuja.

The leader of the NADEJ’s team, Mr. Emmanuel Daudu, while presenting the award to the awardee over the weekend, said  Agada is consistent in contributing his quota towards the emergence of a better Nigerian and global society.

Daudu, who is also the Managing Director, Africa Security Investigation,  disclosed that the association monitored the awardee’s activities for three years, noting that his love for humanity, especially his commitment to improve the living conditions of the less-priviledged qualified him for the award.

He said: “We commend your sense of patriotism, sacrifices, and raw passion for service, which has nothing to do with the tribe, culture, gender, religion, race or  colour of the beneficiaries of your empowerment initiatives and humanitarian services. This approach to life makes you a unique and a deteibalised philanthropist.

“To us, your style of charity and pump-action for the survival of widows and orphans is unequalled compared to the ratings of your contemporaries.

“We also note your resolve, upon your call to serve in the Lord’s vineyard as a Seer and Revelator, to sustain the firing power at destroying the agents of darkness so as to depopulate the kingdom of Satan while populating God’s Kingdom.

“We say kudos as we urge you to keep fit in this direction. It is on account of the fact that you have contributed selflessly and consistently towards helping the government to develop our country in various sectors that we found you to be fit for this historic award aimed at encouraging you and your congregation to offer more society-friendly services”.

The awardee in his reaction, dedicated his award to his  wife,  mother and the widows in his church, saying that their prayers are really working for him.

Agada, who shed tears while  making his statement, recalled how his mother suffered to raise him and his siblings after the death of their father.

At the  end of the event, which also doubled as Prophet Agada’s birthday, no fewer than 50 widows received bags of rice, other food items and cash donations from the awardee.
